All-District Softball Selections

With all four District 29-5A softball representatives having been eliminated from the post season playoffs, Eagle Pass Sports Central has been authorized by C.C. Winn Lady Mavericks head softball coach J.J. Iracheta, Jr. to announce the 2016 District 29-5A all-district softball selections as voted by the respective district head softball coaches during their annual post regular season meeting.

The mighty C.C. Winn Lady Mavericks had three players chosen to the elite all-district first team led by standout junior shortstop Cassandra Flores, stellar junior pitcher Marychelo Flores and senior outfielder Alyssa Lopez.  The Lady Mavericks also garnered two berths on the all-district second team in always reliable senior outfielder Giselle Cerda and junior utility player Connie Hernandez.  Earning a spot on the honorable mention team were senior Brittany Perez, senior Lorena Sanchez, sophomore Daniela Rodriguez and sophomore Yazmin Martinez.

Eagle Pass Sports Central congratulates each of these talented C.C. Winn Lady Mavericks varsity girls’ softball players on your most deserving honor in being voted to the 2016 District 2016 District 29-5A all-district softball team and wish each of you continued success.
