The high powered Eagle Pass Bombers 13U baseball squad recently concluded their respective highly successful spring baseball diamond schedule by capturing the prestigious overall State Tournament championship crown by defeating the San Antonio Kings squad by the convincing score of 11 to 2 in the State Tournament held in Round Rock, Texas. The Eagle Pass 13U Border Bombers are under the leadership of head coach Mike Luna and assistant coaches Bobby Rankin and Cote Rosales.
The Eagle Pass 13U Border Bombers team is comprised by CJ Jimenez, TJ Rankin, Dre Esquivel, Rey Esquivel, Miken Garcia, Luis Rosales, Mikey Perry, Carlos Lopez, Edward Mendoza, Orly Martinez, Ryan Orta, Gunner Perez, and Justin Botello. These talented local youngsters won a total of three other tournament championships and two runner-up championships during the spring prior to winning the State Championship crown.
