Anyone who knows and loves Texas Football, knows that when it comes to getting all the facts and stats Dave Campbell’s Texas Football magazine and website is where it is at.  Every week Dave Campbell’s Texas Football (DCTF) in partnership with U.S. Army honors an outstanding team from every UIL classification as the DCTF Tam of the Week.  The schools selected throughout the course of this program have best exemplified the seven Army Values – Loyalty, Duty, Respect, Selfless Service, Honor, Integrity and Personal Courage.

It is with great pride and recognition, that EPISD announces that Week 7 DCTF 5A Team of the Week is our very own C.C. Winn Maverick Football team!  The team is being recognized for their big win over S.A. McCollum and their awesome plays by Quarterback Julio Ruiz.

Way to go Mavs and can’t wait to see you on this list again!
